Title:  Director of Compensation, Benefits, and HR Operations

Role Overview:  Lucas Group has partnered with a national, high-growth, industry-leading organization in the Cleveland, OH area on their search for a strategic Total Rewards leader. Reporting to the Chief HR Officer and leading a team, this role will play a critical part in the company’s strategic growth initiatives by creating and implementing competitive pay practices, benefits enhancements and overall HR process improvements. The ideal person for this role is a self-starter who exercises independent judgment and enjoys the autonomy to truly build and enhance the Total Rewards function for the growing organization.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and implement the structure for job grading, salary ranges, written job descriptions, bonus structure, and salary increases.
  • Oversee annual salary surveys to analyze competitiveness in the marketplace and benchmark existing positions.
  • Evaluate current job family structure and create a more robust structure to support a high growth business
  • Lead comprehensive communication initiatives pertaining to compensation and benefits.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop, improve, and administer benefits programs.
  • Oversee the process of benefits roll-out and open enrollment.
  • Oversee, evaluate, and streamline all human resources administration processes
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape to ensure the ongoing compliance of programs, plans, processes, and practices.
  • Streamline non value-added activities through process reengineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; advanced degree(s) and/or certification(s) in related disciplines preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience pertaining to the management of compensation, with strong exposure to benefits, and HR operations.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to effectively manage teams and projects.
  • Emphasis on continuing education and maintaining professional knowledge.
