Lucas Group has partnered with a $700M+, multi-brand Franchise company in the Home Improvement / Home Services category. They are looking for an experienced Operations executive to help lead one of their Home Improvement brand concepts to it's next stage of growth. Also, an opportunity to help them launch and build a second concept ready to be launched from the ground-up. As VP, Franchise Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing a growing franchise network of over 135 franchisees operating in over 200 territories across the United States. You will work closely with the marketing, technology and development departments to ensure the successful operation and growth of the company.
Reporting to the President, the VP of Franchise Operations position is a member of the executive team, providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to continue its present growth path. Specifically, this position is being established to ensure that the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems are securely in place to maintain brand compliance and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors mission, vision and values of our company.
- Embrace and enhance the cultural environment in which operate the company brands.
- Assist with the continued development, refinement, measurement and effectiveness of all operational processes - internal and external.
- Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the VP’s operational areas.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; including the ability to attract, recruit and retain required members of the management team not currently in place.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within our company.
- Advise and counsel management and team members in systems growth planning; formulating activities and consulting with department leaders on how to conduct these activities.
- Follow guidelines set by the President as well as to provide strategic analyses to maximize growth and profit.
Skills Needed:
- BA degree required, with preference to concentration in business.
- Strong knowledge of franchise management experience. Minimum of 4 years on a franchise organization desired.
- Minimum of 8 years of strong operational experience is desired
- Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to be an effective problem-solver.
- Ability to lead the organization through a servant mindset.
- Ability to motivate all department team members to achieve group goals.
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Advanced degree in business or related field preferred, such as MBA.
- Work Experience: 8+ years in Franchising, with at least 4 years in Operations leadership
