Title: Vice President of Learning & Development

Role Overview: 

Lucas Group has partnered with a growing technology organization on their search for a Vice President of Learning & Development, located near Ridgefield Park, NJ. This individual will be responsible assessing, developing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive employee training and management development program for the entire organization. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Identify key training needs and work on the development and implementation of programs through internal and external resources 
• Track enrollment for internal/external training programs; maintain training database and calendar(s) 
• Partner with different business units and functional areas across the organization on training needs 
• Design and develop new supervisory/management training offerings using sound instructional design approach 
• Run various training reports such as attendance and class evaluation as well as administering post-training effectiveness surveys 
• Assist Managers with training needs assessment and strategic direction of future training programs 
• Additional projects as necessary 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
• At least 5 years in Human Resources with emphasis in training and organizational development 
• Knowledge and understanding of modern organizational theory and practices; comfortable and able to do stand-up delivery therefore excellent written verbal communications skills are critical 
• Experience managing the administrative side of training
