Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a progressive health care organization that is looking to "raise the bar" in the Human Resources organization.  This premier client is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources for their Westside location in Los Angeles.

The right candidate will lead their HR organization and have a seat at the table with the executive leadership team. Their preference is for someone who has healthcare or home care experience as a first choice. Must have top-level leadership and management experience; have managed teams and have led a strong organization. Must be able to come in and do a 30, 60, 90-day evaluation and determine where HR can be refined and improved.  Should be able to work with the HR team on a daily basis and provide direction, feedback and help progress initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 10 years in an HR leadership or managerial role
• Health care industry experience
• PHR or SHRM-SCP desired
• 3 years of recruiting experience and 1 year of management experience
• Healthcare Industry experience is a plus but would be open to other industries that do high-volume recruiting
