Role Type: 12-month Contract to Hire

We are looking for a UX Business Analyst for our direct Financial Services Client to partner closely with UI/UX Designers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to define high?level experience requirements for future?state digital experiences. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, user experience, and product strategy, ensuring that design teams receive clear, actionable requirements that support intuitive and compliant financial services solutions.
You will play a critical role in translating business goals and user needs into structured documentation, workflows, and requirements that enable efficient and high?quality UI design and solution delivery.

Objectives

  • Work side?by?side with UI designers to capture high?level future?state experience requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, regulatory considerations, and system constraints.
  • Translate insights into experience?oriented requirements, including user stories, epics, feature definitions, and acceptance criteria.
  • Document current?state vs. future?state experience gaps and help shape the UX problem statement for each initiative.
  • Ensure that requirements are framed through a user?centered lens to support design and usability best practices.
  • Support the alignment of business, compliance, and experience requirements for financial services products.

Cross?Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UI/UX Designers to ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and accurately inform design activities in Figma.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, technology teams, risk/compliance partners, and operational stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews, requirement walkthroughs, grooming sessions, and delivery readiness checkpoints.

Tools & Platform Responsibilities

  • Use Figma to review wireframes, annotate requirements, understand component usage, and ensure alignment between requirements and design.
  • Use Notion for documentation management, requirement tracking, and cross?team collaboration.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized workspace for documentation, decisions, timelines, and artifacts.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, UX Analyst, or similar hybrid BA/UX role.
  • Strong ability to gather, interpret, and document high?level experience requirements for complex digital products.
  • Hands?on experience working with design teams; comfort reviewing and discussing designs in Figma.
  • Experience using Notion or similar collaborative workspaces for documentation, collaboration, and light project management.
  • Financial services experience is required, ideally within wealth management, banking, lending, or onboarding workflows.
  • Ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear, structured, prioritized requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to journey mapping, service design, or workflow documentation.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery teams and SDLC processes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting initiatives that involve compliance-heavy or multi-step user flows.
