We have partnered with our client in their search for a User Acceptance Test (UAT) Specialist in Columbus, OH
Responsibilities
As a Sr Associate, the specialist will be a part of a critical global team, and hence it is important that they have the aptitude and capability to systematically test application functionality, as part of the development /test cycle, and in preparation for the go-live phase of each development. They must also record the results correctly while maintaining good communication with stakeholders.
- ? Perform Regression & Functional User Acceptance Testing of systems
? Assist in the parallel running of the current system to ensure the new system results are validated against the existing system
? Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios - Test Cases / Test Scripts in qTest
? Definition and preparation of Test Data
? Identification and analysis of defects and work with Ops teams to ensure the quality of delivered software as well as ensuring timely bug resolution.
? In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidate will be required to assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results.
? Update any documentation that has gone out-of-date.
Skills Required
- ? Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment.
? Test Preparation and Execution experience (preferably within business applications and processes)
? Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting)
? Strong attention to detail
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Track record of successful project completion working in a team
? Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release
? Good time management skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines
? Test Automation experience in Java, Selenium, UDF etc. is good to have
