UAT Lead | Financial Services Transformation

Remote

We are seeking an experienced UAT Lead to join a major transformation programme within the financial services sector.

This role will suit someone who has successfully led User Acceptance Testing across complex business and technology change initiatives and is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.

Working as part of a large programme team, you will take ownership of UAT strategy, planning, governance and execution, ensuring successful business readiness and stakeholder sign-off across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the UAT strategy, approach and governance framework.
  • Plan and manage end-to-end UAT activities across multiple delivery streams.
  • Coordinate business SMEs, operational teams, technology teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Lead defect triage and issue resolution activities.
  • Ensure full traceability between requirements, test scenarios, defects and business sign-off.
  • Produce regular progress updates, risk reports and executive-level status reporting.
  • Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder workshops.
  • Drive successful business acceptance and readiness activities.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading UAT within large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong financial services experience.
  • Experience defining and implementing UAT governance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing business users, SMEs and third-party suppliers throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Strong defect management, reporting and quality assurance experience.
  • Experience working within regulated environments.
