Overview
We have partnered with our client, a well?established law firm, in their search for an experienced Interim Transactional Real Estate Attorney. This role requires a seasoned practitioner with a strong background in sophisticated commercial real estate and corporate transactional matters. The ideal candidate is a New York?licensed attorney with deep experience providing business?focused counsel and handling a wide range of complex agreements and real estate transactions.
The position is onsite preferred, though hybrid arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Manage entity formation, including drafting governing documents, corporate agreements, and organizational materials.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate general commercial agreements and transactional documents.
- Provide business counseling to clients on real estate, corporate, and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements while maintaining a high standard of client service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active Member in Good Standing of the New York Bar.
- 6+ years of experience in transactional commercial real estate.
- Strong background in sophisticated real estate and corporate transactional work.

- Entity Formation
- Governing Documents & Corporate Agreements
- General Commercial Agreements
Education & Experience
- J.D. from an ABA?accredited law school.
- 6+ years of hands?on experience in transactional real estate within a law firm or in?house legal department.
