Our client, a privately held equipment services and distribution company located in Houston is seeking a Shared Services Coordinator.
Compensation: 100K

Some responsibilities include…
- Prepare various schedules for outside auditors and is further responsible for implementing agreed upon recommendations resulting from the audit findings.
- Train & mentor department and ensure appropriate prioritization of day-to-day responsibilities and project work.
- Ensures that US GAAP, basic internal controls and company specific policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Accountable for the oversight, management and leadership of the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions. Must identify process inefficiencies to improve accuracy, timeliness and efficiencies of these functions.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA License / MBA preferred
- 10 years of shared service accounting experience in manufacturing or complex distribution businesses
- Five years of management or supervisory experience
- Prior experience working with JD Edwards or other ERP business systems is required.
