Job Duties:
- Complete requirements for month-end close process inclusive of Book reconciliations, Current Month Accrual, PPA’s entering of journal entries, etc.;
- Perform in monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
- Perform daily interface from the Invoice Management System(IMS) to the Accounting System (SUN)
- Enter, reconcile, and report activities for other legal entities attached to the Company
- Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare Quarterly and Annual Audit Request
- Provide analysis on Trading-related tax impacts
- Assist in Trading Accounting related system/process improvement projects
- Serve as a back-up for Sr. Trading Control Accountant
- Support Trading Control Supervisor in responsibilities and various projects or Ad Hoc requests
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting required.
- Three to five years’ experience in an accounting; Preferably in Energy Trading
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mastery of Pivot tables).
