Interim Technology Operational Readiness Lead
Location: Dublin area, Ireland | Contract: Daily rate | Hybrid / on-site during key phases

Korn Ferry is supporting a major life sciences manufacturer on a significant technology and operations programme and is seeking an Interim Technology Operational Readiness Lead.

This role will sit between project delivery and business operations, ensuring new digital, automation, IT and OT solutions are fully ready for go-live, supportable in steady state, compliant, and capable of delivering long-term business value.

You will work across project teams, site operations, engineering, quality, digital and external partners to ensure technology is not just implemented, but successfully embedded into the operating environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the technology operational readiness approach across a major manufacturing programme

  • Define readiness criteria across people, process, technology, data, compliance, security and support

  • Drive go-live readiness across automation, PCS/SCADA, MES, infrastructure, data and digital platforms

  • Ensure effective handover into steady-state operations with clear support ownership, escalation routes and lifecycle processes

  • Support change, adoption and training to ensure site teams are confident using and supporting new systems

  • Identify and mitigate operational, compliance and technology risks

Experience required:

  • 10+ years in manufacturing technology, automation, IT/OT, digital or related technical leadership roles within a regulated environment

  • Strong experience leading technology deployments from design through go-live into operations

  • Background in operational readiness, handover and support model design

  • Good understanding of GMP, validation, compliance and data integrity

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across operations, engineering, quality, IT and programme teams

Desirable:

  • Experience in greenfield or major brownfield manufacturing programmes

  • Exposure to digital manufacturing, analytics, IIoT or AI-enabled environments
