We have partnered with our client in their search for a Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Strategic Social Media Campaigns:
  • Create and execute innovative social media strategies to promote company's mission, membership, educational programs, products, and international conferences.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align campaign goals with organizational objectives and ensure consistent messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and enhanced engagement.
2. Engage and Grow Online Community:
  • Manage and maintain activity levels on various social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant content that engages current followers and attracts new ones.
  • Interact with company staff, members, and the broader community to support their social media activities and promote a collaborative online presence.
  • Utilize tools and technologies to track engagement metrics, audience growth, and overall online activity, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • 3. Stay Informed and Competitive:
    • Keep abreast of social media trends, best practices, and the activities of peer and competitive societies to identify opportunities for company to enhance its visibility and reputation.
    • Conduct regular assessments of the social media landscape and provide strategic recommendations to leadership for staying ahead in the field.
    • Develop reports and presentations on social media performance and competitive analysis to inform company's strategic planning and decision-making.

Skills Required

  • Social Media Management Expertise:

    • At least 3 years of experience in social media management and marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
    • Proficiency in using social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), corporate websites, and related tools/technologies to increase engagement and online activity.
    • Ability to create compelling and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Strong Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging messages for various audiences.
    • Experience in advising and collaborating with staff and members on social media strategies and activities.
    • Proficiency in presenting complex information in an understandable and appealing manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Multitasking and High-Volume Workload Management:

    • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
    • Proven multitasking capabilities, with experience in handling several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or accuracy.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring consistent and efficient execution of social media activities.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3+ yrs of social media management experience preferred

Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Hybrid (Financial District, New York City) 

Client Industry: Healthcare Non-profit
Compensation: $40-47/hr converting at $90K+ Base plus Benefits
