AWS Migration Oversight | Remote (EU time zone)
We're looking for an experienced Technical Project / Product Manager to support a large-scale AWS migration program that is already underway. This is a hands-on oversight role focused on transparency, coordination, and quality assurance in a complex technical delivery environment.
You'll act as an operational extension of the internal Product / Project Lead-providing visibility into progress, identifying risks early, and ensuring migration activities meet agreed standards and expectations.
This role sits between Product Management and Project Management: it's not about owning a roadmap or features, and not a pure PMO role. It's about making sure things are thought through, followed up, and delivered with quality.
Act as the "eyes and ears" for the internal Product Lead across AWS migration activities
Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and follow-up on agreed actions and checklists
Work closely with migration leads, delivery teams, and external vendors
Review and challenge Jira epics and tickets from a business and quality perspective
Ensure clear, decision-ready reporting on status, risks, and next steps
Perform spot checks on technical and procedural due diligence
Escalate risks, gaps, and quality concerns early
Represent the Product Lead in selected meetings when required
Must-have
Strong experience in technical Product Management or Project Management roles
Solid understanding of IT and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Experience working in agile delivery setups
Confidence communicating with technical teams without needing to be a deep specialist
Strong stakeholder coordination and follow-up skills
Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset
Experience working with Jira
Fluent English

Experience in large-scale migration or transformation programs
Experience working with multiple external vendors
Background in enterprise or regulated environments
100% remote
Core collaboration in EU working hours
Distributed delivery teams across Europe, India, and the US
Focus on operational stakeholders (no executive-level stakeholder management)

Initial contract until June 2026, with strong likelihood of extension
