Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced technical environment. This role is ideal for a proven project leader with experience in Managed Services (MSP) or IT Services, who excels at working with technical teams, managing client-facing initiatives, and driving organizations toward more structured, scalable project delivery practices.
The IT Project Manager will serve as the primary point of coordination across internal technical teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring successful outcomes
- Partner closely with technical teams and SMEs to define requirements, plan milestones, and manage dependencies
- Drive projects in environments transitioning from ad-hoc processes to more structured, standardized approaches
- Lead client-facing projects, serving as a trusted point of contact and ensuring clear communication and expectations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, service delivery, and leadership
- Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules, risk logs, and status reporting
- Identify project risks and issues early, escalating and resolving them proactively
- Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business or client objectives
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably within:
- Managed Services Providers (MSP)
- IT services organizations
- Technical or infrastructure-focused environments
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience working closely with technical teams and subject matter experts
- Hands-on experience leading projects during organizational transitions from informal to structured delivery models
- Strong background managing client-facing projects with cross-functional teams
