Tax Preparer (Closed)

We are working with a small public accounting firm, in DTLA, who are in search of a Tax Preparer to support their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual federal and multi-state income tax returns
• Prepare business federal and California income tax returns
• Assist in satisfying various federal and state compliance functions, such as foreign disclosure forms, form 1099's, etc.
• Analyze third party information, such as Schedule K-1's and reconcile to partnership books, capital accounts and financial statements, etc.
• Other assignments and projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance Preferred
• 3+ years of Tax Preparation Experience
• Prior Ultratax and FileCabinet experience Preferred
• Possess and demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
