We have been engaged by a $1B manufacturing company in Alpharetta that is looking to bring on a Tax Manager. This role will be responsible for leading, reviewing, and assisting in preparing all financial information including the execution of internal and external reporting, maintenance of tax record and preparation and submission of federal and state/local income and indirect tax returns. The Tax Manager will ensure accurate and timely compliance with the statutes and regulations of all applicable jurisdictions and ASC 740 compliance.
Requirements:
• Requires BS Degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• CPA and/or Masters degree in Taxation highly preferred.
• Requires 10+ years of income tax experience with a minimum of 7 years in industry.
• Big Four Firm tax experience preferred, with emphasis on SALT.
• Requires ASC 740 experience.
• Must be hands-on, detail oriented and work within a collaborative environment.
• Preference for experience in manufacturing environment, given significant R&D
tax credits and studies supporting tax returns.
• Preference to be experienced with M+A, including due diligence and documentation.
