Effectively manage the activities related to the international tax functions, but not limited to transfer pricing, contract reviews, assistance with tax planning, assistance with technical research for tax compliance and tax accruals. Assist & advise the VP, Tax in all tax matters related to international taxes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage U.S and non-U.S. entities transfer pricing reports and documentation
  • Create and maintain OSII uncertain tax position, if any
  • Review and Manage the international contract review process
  • Support business in global expansion efforts and provide non-U.S. tax analysis for business decisions
  • Assist with non-US tax planning including foreign tax credit analysis
  • Assist with implementation of tax planning for acquisitions and divestitures. Assist US International compliance including researching technical issues and work with Tax Manager, Compliance & Provision to provide technical review and oversight on international tax issues.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of U.S. taxation of international / foreign operations
  • Assist with technical research for non-U.S. reporting for ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes
  • Create and maintain memos and tax work papers to support positions taken
  • Identify, analyze, and communicate foreign effective tax rate drivers
  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance matters
  • Assist VP, Tax with the non-U.S. income tax audits.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/ BA degree in accounting with CPA or MBA
  • 8+ years international income tax experience with an accounting firm, large internal corporate tax function, or a combination thereof
  • Strong technical tax background
  • FIN 48 background
  • Experience in international tax research and compliance
  • Ability to identify tax issues and solutions
  • Management experience
  • Working knowledge of application software (Hyperion, Excel, Word, etc.)
