Our client, a growing, established corporation in Scottsdale, is looking for an analytical accounting professional for their Sales Tax department. Responsibilities:
- Maintaining tax schedules for assigned territory
- Preparing tax returns according to local sales tax laws
- Exporting and analyzing reports from internal system into Excel
- Reconciliation of tax related G/L accounts for accuracy
- Posting adjustments as required for month end close
Experience:
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably handling sales tax or other taxes
- Must have strong technical skills including intermediate Excel skills. Access experience is a plus!
- Must be research oriented - enjoying reconciliation and problem solving
- A strong level of attention to detail and organization are required
