My client a CPA firm in N Scottsdale is looking to bring on a Tax Accountant, this is a direct hire role with stable organization that will offer a great work/life balance that will compensate you for any hours worked over 40.  This firm will help you grow your career with addition training and mentorship.

Seeking a tax accountant looking to take the next step by joining our CPA firm. The daily responsibilities will involve specializing in small business and personal tax return preparation, as well as general accounting in QuickBooks. Upon satisfactory completion of the upcoming tax season, there will also be future growth and training opportunities, if desired.

Experience Requirements:

• 3 years of recent experience in actively preparing tax returns during tax season.
• Thorough understanding of forms 1040, 1065, 1120s, 1120, etc.
• Experience / general familiarity with Lacerte tax prep software desired.
• Experience / general familiarity with QuickBooks required.
• Good communication skills as some client calls will be needed for follow up information.
• College course work in accounting, or related field. CPA or EA preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work extended (paid) hours from mid-February to mid-April and mid-August to mid-October.
