Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the sourcing and hiring needs of the company.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Identify, develop and implement sourcing strategies based upon the position description by conducting research and/or utilizing resources to ensure a talent pipeline and to build bench strength
- Acquire a thorough understanding of job responsibilities for required competencies, skills, and knowledge required of successful applicants
- Schedule and pre-screen candidates through phone interviews and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers based on the provided culture fit and position description
- Utilize applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data and post job openings
- Coach and advise hiring managers on hiring practices
- Oversee all candidate-to-company communication
- Prepare offer letters and pre-employment paperwork, background & drug screens
- Manage confidential and personal identifying information and prepare reports, as required
- Ensure positive candidate experience from the initial application to the final on-boarding process
- Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline using research, networking, etc. for prospective candidates
- Coordinate with external agencies, as needed
- Complete miscellaneous recruiting projects and other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Knowledge & Competencies:
- Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple users at all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy
- General knowledge of employment law and behavioral interviewing
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
- Naturally maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) & applicant tracking systems
Previous Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years’ experience in recruiting function
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Office environment
- Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Up to 10% travel
