JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Provide both Tier l and Tier 2 support to client-facing systems and infrastructure. Additional escalation to be sent to 3rd party MSP
Help define lT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. . Coordinate schedules and vendors to ensure timely and correct completion of projects. This includes (but not limited to) opening/closing of locations, site relocation, and MSP changes. .
Continually assess vendors (including MSP) for productivity and cost-effectiveness. Make sound recommendations to executive management regarding continuance or termination of vendor contracts.
o Create/maintain end-user security training (See current training video) . Monitor performance of systems to determine repair/replace decisions and make sound recommendations to executive management
o Provide Help Desk Support by utilizing technical skills to troubleshoot/repair workstation and peripheral equipment and software.
o Provide user support for 05/0365/Pioneer/ProPharm to include user assistance and password update/reset.
o Provide basic support for ShoreTel. (Basic knowledge includes skills obtained through CompTlA A+ certification. Proprietary knowledge gaps will exist but can be filled through training. ie: pioneer University) .
Basic network troubleshooting:
Utilize networking skills to troubleshoot/repair connectivity issues for locations and/or servers and workstations. (Basic knowledge includes skills obtained through Comp TIA Network+ certification.) Escalate anything more than basic issues to MSP.
o onboard/offboard of employees: New hires should have credentials created for AD/DS, O3G5, and Pioneer/ProPharm as determined by job role. All security settings to be determined by job role.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory obtained through CompTlA A+ certification.
o Act as liaison: Meet regularly with MSP team to assess current status of networks, servers, workstations, and security.
o Maintain appropriate levels of consumables (toner) as well as cables/parts for various printers and workstations.
Qualifications: . CompTlA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent prior work experience
o Need experience supporting both PC and Mac. candidate should possess effective communication skills to help assess company/user needs and communicate their findings back to executive management. .
CAPM certification or verified pMBOK training a plus, but not required.
