Our client is a well known leader in the protein industry that is experiencing tremendous growth through recent acquisitions. We are partnering with them in search of a Supply Chain Manager in the southern suburbs of Chicago
The successful candidate would create and maintain the Demand Plan, Production Plans and ensure production schedules that drive compliance to the plan. S/he will also oversee staff of four (Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, Scheduler, Material Buyer/Planner) while overseeing inventory levels of WIP and finished goods. Finally, this candidate will support new product development and plant management team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (APICS Certification a plus)
3+ Years of Supply Chain Management experience in a multi-stage manufacturing environment
3+ Years of Planning/Scheduling experience specifically with a seasonal or cyclical food product would be preferred
ERP/MRP experience
New product development/product launch experience
