We have partnered with our client in their search for a
Supplier Quality Engineer (Regulatory Focus).
This is a consulting engagement where the successful candidate will work closely with supplier sites to elevate quality and compliance standards. The role requires a highly hands-on professional who can effectively balance audit rigor with a collaborative, team-oriented approach, bringing suppliers along the compliance journey while driving measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite supplier quality audits across Switzerland, assessing compliance against ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and client-specific quality management system requirements.
- Partner closely with suppliers to identify compliance gaps, develop remediation plans, and drive rapid implementation of corrective and preventive actions to achieve audit readiness.
- Act as a hands-on quality expert, providing guidance and support to suppliers while ensuring quality processes are aligned with established regulatory and operational standards.
Skills Required
- Strong supplier quality and regulatory compliance experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, with proven experience conducting supplier audits and driving compliance improvements.
- Fluent German language skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with a collaborative and supportive approach to supplier engagement.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Supplier Quality Engineer (or equivalent quality certification) with demonstrable experience leading supplier audits, quality remediation activities, and regulatory compliance projects.
