Structural Engineer (Closed)

Our client is a Tri-State Engineering firm that just celebrated its 50th anniversary. They continue to lead their industry with innovative architecture and engineering solutions and initiatives. With four locations in total, they are in search of a Structural Engineer who will design buildings and other structures to expand their growing structural division. This position can be located in multiple cities including here in the Chicagoland area.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan based on their calculations and any research conducted. They should be able to utilize strong 3D design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate also could execute a project based on the criteria outlined.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
• Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
• Execute project based on outlined criteria

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 3+ years’ professional engineering experience;
• FE/EIT, PE, or SE a plus;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD-Pro or RISA 3D or analogous software;
