Our client is a multi-billion dollar industry leader headquartered in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Their Supply Chain group is currently going through a transformation and they have asked us to partner and find them a Strategic Sourcing Manager (Chemicals) to add to their Corporate Supply Chain team.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager (Chemicals) will formulate and execute corporate chemicals category strategies that deliver cost effective solutions. He/She will strive to reduce the total cost of ownership of the organization’s chemical spend as well as interface with various stakeholders at differing levels & functions within the company.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in bulk chemical spend and working experience within a corporate procurement program – leveraging their category globally. In addition to their corporate experience, our candidate will also have the ability to navigate plant discussions and further their centralized initiative.
