Strategic Sales Director - Aerospace for Company's operations team, will lead business development and relationship management activities across the North American Aerospace Market. Key responsibilities will include supporting Company's ongoing operations activities and developing strategic sales growth plans that deliver value to our clients via time/complexity efficiencies and supply chain savings. Additionally, this individual will closely coordinate with Company's European Aerospace team to share best sales practices and to optimize our total value proposition into this market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regional responsibility – North American Aerospace Market (NAAM).
  • Actively engage the NAAM, with the goal of building senior-level business relationships with Company's customer base and implementing a mid/long-term sales growth plan consistent with Company.s overall business strategy.
  • Develop, articulate, and help deliver differentiated, value-added solutions to Company's customers.
  • Apply knowledge of NAAM and its business drivers to increase Company’s market share, revenues, and profits.
  • Maintain awareness of new/ongoing NAAM projects and coordinate with Company’s Regional Ops Managers and VPs to ensure resource availability for services delivery.
  • Present innovative ideas and breakthrough approaches (including ongoing R&D activities) to Company's’ customers to provide an “advanced look” at Company's’ growing capabilities.

 Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of combined business/ market development and operations experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Aerospace preferred) or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop senior level business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Aerospace industry, including supply chain, materials testing, and business drivers.
  • Proven ability to meet & exceed sales goals.
  • NDT and Predictive Maintenance experience a plus.
  • MBA and/or financial management experience a plus.
  • US Citizenship is required.

TRAVEL:

This position covers the North American market. As such, the individual in this role must be prepared to travel up to 50%, or as required to actively drive business development.

International travel as needed.
