Our client, a supply company located in Houston is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to their team.

Compensation: $68k
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary, discretionary bonus, + excellent benefits.

Some responsibilities include…

• Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards
• Perform testing and documentation for all financial processes, including planning documents, flowcharts, tests of controls, etc
• Conduct financial analyses of balance sheet
• Fulfill internal and external audit requests

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years accounting experience
• SOX compliance experience
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Audit experience is a plus
• SEC reporting experience is a plus
