Our client is a growing, multi-billion dollar industry leader that has been in business for over 80 years. The forward-thinking organization has dozens of locations worldwide and has grown to over 40,000 employees. They continue to expand service offerings and products through innovative strategy planning and are currently partnering with us on a newly created Senior Packaging Engineering opening in the North suburbs of Chicago.
This person will perform sustaining engineering activities on current product packaging and packaging processes. They will support new product development teams and help provide the design, development and verification testing of new product packaging. The position will include exposure to several types of packaging materials including flexible and rigid films, HDPE and foil pouches, corrugated design and protective packaging, thermoforming, other related packaging processes. In addition to the technical responsibilities, this Engineer will manage & mentor 2-3 direct reports.
