We have been engaged by a $3.5B manufacturing company looking to bring on a Senior Finance Manager. This role will repot to the VP Corporate Controller, and will be interfacing and supporting all business unit finance leads at the corporate level. Our client is looking for an individual who can take ownership and leadership within the business. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create strategies and roadmap to build a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis  organization
  • Lead the process of developing the group annual budget, forecasts, and five-year plan
  • Implement rolling forecast business process and enhance driver-based planning methodologies across the organization
  • Implement recurring internal reporting packages, CFO dashboards, trend analysis, and other ad hoc analysis
  • Coordinate with division businesses on monthly forecasting updates
  • Provide Board of Director meeting preparation support, developing executive presentations and reports
  • Organize and guide leadership meetings including monthly operation reviews and quarterly business reviews
  • Support SG&A functions in budgeting, analyzing department performance, investment ROI analysis, and process improvement initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining best practices to ensure accurate and timely reporting, reports automation, and standardization of global processes
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of financial planning system and streamline company-wide financial planning processes
  • Communicate and assist leadership in understanding financial and other business data at the corporate and division levels
  • Implement in?depth analytical framework to generate better business insight, add value and provide strategic support
  • Develop and implement micro/macro-economic analytics and "what if" scenario analysis to identify opportunities and risks
  • Lead strategic projects, identify key business and financial risks, and support setting financial targets

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong business acumen, strong knowledge of business analysis, accounting and finance fundamentals
  • Deep understanding of policies & procedures, controls, FP&A best practices and management reporting
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrates strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Establish effective working relationships with all levels to successfully lead, influence, and innovate
  • Demonstration of sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Demonstration of the highest level of integrity and trust

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA and/or MBA in Finance preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate financial planning & analysis in medium to large global organizations
  • Experience in ERP systems, Hyperion Planning and other EPM solutions, dashboard tools
