We have partnered with our client in the technology sector in their search for a Sr. Lead Counsel, Public Sector (Interim).
Responsibilities
- Lead the public sector legal function in support of sales, contracting, and compliance needs
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of government and commercial agreements, including SaaS, reseller, teaming, subcontract, and services agreements
- Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders to manage legal risk across proposal, contracting, and post-award activities
Skills Required
- Significant experience with U.S. federal, state, and local government contracts, including FAR and DFARS
- Strong commercial contracting and technology transactions experience in a SaaS or cloud environment
- Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills in a fast-paced business setting
Education & Work Experience
Degree
J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
Work Experience
7-12+ years of relevant government contracts and commercial legal experience, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS organizations
