We have partnered with our client in their search for an accomplished Sr. IT Project Manager with robust experience in ERP, application migrations, and infrastructure projects within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex IT implementations and integrations, with a strategic focus on enhancing our IT infrastructure and enterprise system capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the implementation of Dynamics ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and alignment with pharmaceutical standards.
  • Lead large-scale migration projects from legacy systems to cutting-edge application platforms, particularly within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Orchestrate the management of complex, multi-faceted IT projects, including critical IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
  • Drive the entire project lifecycle, including meticulous planning, defining project scopes, budgeting accurately, executing implementations, and overseeing communication, tracking, and reporting.
  • Tackle and navigate project challenges, conducting thorough impact analyses and steering the change management process.
  • Ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of projects, maintaining the highest standards of scope quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and refine IT project management best practices, tailor processes and procedures to support the unique requirements of pharmaceutical IT projects.
  • Coordinate and resolve conflicts within project teams, facilitating a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Accept full responsibility for managing all aspects of the project deliverables, including scope, cost, schedule, staffing, vendor relations, and contractual commitments.
  • Compile and present detailed project status reports to senior management, showcasing progress and identifying any areas for strategic improvement.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; a Master’s degree or additional certifications in ERP systems or related technologies would be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a portfolio that includes ERP implementations, application migrations, and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Deep understanding of IT project management methodologies, with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • PMP Certification is a prerequisite; additional certifications in ERP systems (e.g.,Dynamics) are desirable.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, as well as experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • A proactive leadership style, capable of engaging with stakeholders and team members who may be resistant to change.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with an aptitude for managing projects in a detail-oriented and regulatory-focused environment.
