We have partnered with our client in their search for a Sr. HRIS Analyst - UKG. As the senior Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) expert for UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Pro Workforce Management (WFM), this role leads the design, configuration, and optimization of Advanced Scheduler and related timekeeping modules across a health system. The position partners closely with Clinical Operations, centralized staffing, payroll, and IT to improve staffing efficiency, labor compliance, and cost control. Success is measured by schedule accuracy, reduction in manual work and defects, timely and stable releases, and adoption by leaders and schedulers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as system owner and subject-matter expert for UKG Advanced Scheduler across the health system
  • Optimize scheduling workflows for nursing, clinical departments, support services, and centralized staffing
  • Partner with Clinical Operations and leaders to align scheduling with policies, union rules, and productivity targets
  • Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of new UKG features, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Own complex configuration in UKG Pro WFM modules including Timekeeping, Accruals, Attendance, and related components
  • Coordinate release management including configuration changes, regression testing, and migration activities
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for critical scheduling and timekeeping issues
  • Ensure data integrity and audit readiness for scheduling, punch data, pay rules, and labor allocation

Skills Required

  • Deep knowledge of HR operations and workforce scheduling in hospital and healthcare environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements for HR operations and scheduling practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency building and maintaining spreadsheets and databases to produce dashboards and staffing metrics
  • Expertise with pay rules, labor distribution, fatigue management, and labor compliance requirements
  • Experience partnering with clinical leaders and centralized staffing to improve labor efficiency and adoption
  • Release management discipline including change control, configuration governance, and regression testing
  • Validation and quality assurance (QA) skills to maintain accurate business rules and audit readiness
  • Advanced customer service and stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentorship capability to guide junior analysts and superusers and promote user-centric design

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years supporting UKG Pro WFM with significant hands-on Advanced Scheduler; experience with payroll, timekeeping, and integrations in healthcare
  • Experience leading complex configurations, upgrades, and cross-functional implementations; multi-hospital/union exposure preferred
  • Master's degree and UKG Pro WFM Advanced Scheduler certification(s) preferred
