Our client, a well-established, non-O&G related Service organization located in the West Houston area, seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- SEC Reporting
- Prepare monthly journal entries related to stock-based compensation and other areas
- Prepare reconciliations
- Assist with analyzing new accounting standards
- Help create accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in public accounting strongly preferred but minimum of 2 years’ experience related to SEC reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
