We have partnered with our client in their search for a Sr. Business Analyst - Oracle GL.
Responsibilities
Project Management, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance for strategic projects and enhancements.
Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
Preparing test strategies and test plans and coordinating SIT and UAT testing schedules and tracking of defects.
Coordinate with client stakeholders to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Preparing clear and concise meeting minutes.
Assist with production implementation & coordinate user validation.
Participate in general BA work including production support and BAU enhancements of business applications.
Manage projects between technology and business teams.
Skills Required
4+ years of experience in a financial firm in business analysis and quality assurance roles.
2+ years of experience in project management for finance and accounting projects.
Experience Corporate Finance Systems experience (Oracle GL, Coupa, SmartView, TM1) is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate confidently with users and effectively with technical team members.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements.
Eagerness and demonstrated ability to effectively learn and master new domains.
Strong work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines and objectives.
Organized and efficient.
Strong skills working with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point, SharePoint & Visio.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS-SQL is a plus.
Bachelor's degree. Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
