Our E&P client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant.
Compensation: $95k
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary + competitive benefits.
Employer Value Proposition:
You will perform a range of routine and complex tasks in support of oil and gas production and operations activities, including gathering, inputting and analyzing various oil and gas production data used to calculate monthly revenues.
Some responsibilities include…
- Creates master files and gathers pertinent data to design and implement complex delivery systems
- Analyzes daily oil data from field reports, run tickets & purchaser statements for designated geographic area
- Gathers gas data and creates spreadsheets detailing monthly gas allocations
- Prepares production volume allocations and reconciles allocations statements
- Contacts field personnel and/or purchasers as needed during the reconciliation process
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas accounting with an emphasis on production/revenue accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Detail oriented individual whose work is thorough, completed timely and with minimal supervision
