Sr. Accountant (Closed)

Our client, a privet equity, CPG company is looking for a Senior Accountant. 

Responsibilities

• Month End Close

• Review AR and AP reconciliations w/ customers/vendors for key accounts
• Review monthly accruals for missing bills
• Review FX impact for funds transfers and accurate posting
• Review sales tax reporting and ensure timely and accurate reporting/filling
• Review AR Aging for collection forecast
• Manage cross-functional communication on actions needed to expedite collections
• Develop and supervise recurring task list for largest customer statement communication
• Review and approve credit memo issuance for compliance w/ company’s policy
• Review customer terms and credit coverage to minimize risky credit exposure
• Sales Order and Customer Approval
• Review new customers for proper channel/pricing/credit limit set up
• Review credit limit matching per insurance carrier vs ERP records
• Monthly Reporting
• Customer DSO and profitability
• Credit memo summary
• Retrospective forecast and other analysis as required

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years of Accounting experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
• Netsuite experience highly preferred
• CPA (or candidate) preferred
