Lucas Group has partnered with an established manufacturing client located in the San Antonio, TX area.
Our client is looking to add an experienced Sourcing Manager to their Supply Chain & Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have experience researching, locating and sourcing the highest quality materials, goods and services to meet Cost, Delivery, Technical and Inventory Objectives to support New Business Development through the Engineering Group.
Requirements:
- Experience determining if the combination of Design, Raw Material and Process are the right ones to meet Project Requirements.
- Experience developing the RFQ Process between Engineering and Sourcing Area into a Data Base to establish timing and deliveries between both parties.
- Experience working with Engineering & Operations teams to support Strategic Sourcing projects.
- Experience developing and maintain supplier relationships.
- Experience providing status reports to the top Management for RFQs, Cost Saving initiatives and realized savings.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing scope.
- At least 5 years’ sourcing experience.
