Lucas Group has partnered with a growing company seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer on a 6 month contract-to-hire basis to help build an industry changing voice activated application for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
Create, document, and perform tests to identify software problems
Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
Perform and document risk analysis
Perform manual and automated testing
Record results of tests for the software development team
Works together with the software developer to improve programs and user experience
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Code or work with development team to code automated tests
Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
Research and analyze product features being tested
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
Suggest solutions to identified product problems
Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
Work with JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo (or similar technologies) developing an automated process for fixes
Requirements
3+ years of experience with software QA tools and processes specifically with client server applications
3+ years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Winium, Microfocus UFT, Winnappdriver
High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages such as C# or Java
