The Lucas Group is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to add as a key member of our team in Atlanta. The Social Media Manager is accountable for implementing social media marketing strategy, scope, process, and programs which help drive brand recognition while providing significant and positive impact to our organizational goals.

The Social Media Manager will focus on multi-faceted planning and execution of digital media campaigns across major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap Chat, LinkedIn and other social platforms. The Social Media Manager will work directly with the CMO on the day-to-day execution and provide strategic guidance with all social media marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute paid and organic Social Media campaigns, ongoing optimizations and campaign reporting.
  • Oversee social media budgets, pacing, and monthly billing reconciliation.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns and identify strategic opportunities while also demonstrating a willingness to bring new ideas, and approaches to the organization.
  • Stays ahead of relevant social trends while keeping the organization informed.
  • Gain a firm understanding of partner relationships and how paid, earned, and owned media can be applied to each relationship.
  • Manage the workflow of content and ads in third-party platforms.
  • Produce and manage graphic designs relative point of sale material, and social media placement.
  • Coordinate objectives with sales, trade marketing, customer operations, and in-house social media teams.

REQUIREMENTS

· BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or a related field is required.

· 2+ years’ experience managing and implementing organic and paid social media marketing campaigns along with a solid understanding of paid, earned and owned media.

· Proficient on Facebook’s advertising platform including Custom Audiences.

· Working knowledge of the Google AdWords platform including Customer Match.

· Experience with third party social platforms, such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social.

· Must be a self-starter and willing to continually and proactively follow up with internal teams.

· Acute attention to detail and superb time/task management skills.

· Must be able to handle multiple, competing priorities while meeting deadlines, managing risk, and troubleshooting problems.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective copy writing skills.

· Proven success in a fast-paced environment with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude.
