Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer (Contract)
Location: Hybrid London
Contract: 6-Month Initial Contract (Extensions Likely)
Rate: £475 - £525 (Per day, Outside of IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join on a 6-month initial contract, with extensions likely. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise across Snowflake, Python, and SQL, combined with a solid understanding of engineering best practices and DevOps. This role will be hands-on, supporting the development and optimisation of data pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud-based solutions.
Key Requirements
Strong technical capability in Snowflake (querying, staging, pipelines; Snowpipe exposure desirable)
Advanced skills in Python and SQL
Solid understanding of engineering excellence, with a focus on testing and quality assurance
Experience with AWS services (Batch and Lambda)
Proficiency in DevOps practices
Familiarity with GitHub (GitLab experience a plus)
