Freelance Sitecore XM Cloud Developer (Remote, 6-Month Contract)

About the Role
A leading digital agency is looking for a skilled Sitecore XM Cloud Developer to join a new project delivering cutting-edge digital experiences. This is a fully remote freelance position, with the opportunity to work on a high-profile project using the latest Sitecore technologies.
You will work closely with the agency's team and the client's stakeholders to implement scalable, high-performance CMS solutions, ensuring best practices in architecture, integration, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Sitecore XM Cloud solutions.
- Implement front-end and back-end components according to functional and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and project managers to deliver a seamless digital experience.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of the Sitecore platform.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Provide technical guidance on Sitecore best practices and architecture.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Sitecore XM Cloud (development and deployment).
- Strong skills in .NET Core / C#, Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), and related Sitecore technologies.
- Knowledge of headless Sitecore architecture, JSS/Next.js, and modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills; German-speaking candidates are highly desirable.
