Lucas Group has partnered with a client in the Alpharetta area that is looking for to hire a Sheet metal fabricator.
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, the position will be required to skillfully work with our team manufacturing internally various custom applications specifically to customer request. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
Duties:
· Use shop drawings & specs to plan completion of Pieces.
· Cut, grind, Machine and form work pieces as required accurately.
· Must be proficient with all measuring equipment.
· Produce high quality finished products.
Skills and Knowledge Required
· Must have good work ethic and desire to produce high quality product for our customers.
· Accurpress/ETS3000 control experience
· Ability to setup and program machines
· Ability to lift 100 pounds.
· Ability to use light machinery and power equipment.
· Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record.
· Must be self-motivated and stay productive.
· Must be committed to safety and shop cleanliness.
· Must have a positive attitude and work within the team.
· Must be willing to learn new skills.
Special qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Proven experience with metal fabrication.
· Experience in using electrical and manual tools.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
