SERVICENOW BUSINESS ANALYST - REMOTE
A global financial firm is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in ServiceNow. The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering IT and business stakeholder requirements related to ServiceNow and partnering with the ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to transform the requirements into a viable solution. You will be working on the following initiatives: Data Integrity, Onboarding Module implementation. Ideal candidates will be a driven, self-starter comfortable working with multiple Project Managers and internal business users to accomplish several major initiatives with ServiceNow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Acting as the sole Business Analyst for a company-wide ServiceNow upgrade
The ServiceNow Business Analyst is responsible for gathering IT and business stakeholder requirements related to ServiceNow and partnering with the ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to transform the requirements into a viable solution.
Work with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements for ServiceNow functionality, including service catalog items Document full requirements, including layout, fields, workflows, team processes as well system processes.
Facilitate requirements sessions, provide recommendations to streamline and optimize processes.
Partner with the ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to determine the best technical solution to address the requirements
Perform testing in pre-Prod environments to ensure that the documented requirements are met.
Defines test cases and acceptance criteria.
Deep knowledge and experience in understanding enterprise requirements necessary to successfully implement a complex SaaS or PaaS solution including a strong appreciation for understanding security, data, and business usage requirements
Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement: ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
Strong process development, facilitating requirements for SNOW implementations: ServiceNow experience with integrations, automation, and workflows
3+ years in a ServiceNow Business Analyst role with deep knowledge of ITSM processes, including Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Incident Management and Problem Management.
Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization.
Demonstrated experience designing solutions to meet organizational goals, improve efficiency and reduce risk based on business analysis intelligence
Background working within the ITIL and IT Service Management discipline
Demonstrated experience documenting process designs to meet organizational goals, improve efficiency and reduce risk
Demonstrated commitment to continual learning of ServiceNow best practices and standards including actively participating in the ServiceNow community forums.
Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to foster the development of high-performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs; team player, drives processes and takes active ownership of deliverables
