We are currently seeking an experienced UAT Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme within a highly regulated financial services environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant business and technology change initiative, supporting the delivery of critical customer and operational enhancements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, execution and coordination of User Acceptance Testing activities, working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and third-party delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute User Acceptance Testing activities across multiple project workstreams.
- Review and validate business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain UAT test scenarios, test cases and test evidence.
- Coordinate testing activities with business users and subject matter experts.
- Execute test cases and accurately record results.
- Log, track and support the resolution of defects through to closure.
- Participate in defect triage and prioritisation sessions.
- Support test progress reporting and status updates.
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases and defects.
- Contribute to business readiness and deployment activities.
Required Experience
- Previous experience working as a UAT Analyst, Test Analyst or Business Test Analyst.
- Experience supporting UAT phases within large-scale change or transformation programmes.
- Strong defect management and test execution experience.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders and SMEs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
Desirable Experience
- Financial services experience.
- Experience working on customer-facing or operational transformation programmes.
- Exposure to regulated environments.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM or similar testing platforms.
