We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join their Healthcare Division.

Responsibilities: 
This position is a senior-level position that will work with one or more business units, supporting moderately complex projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.
 

  • Analyze, define and document complex requirements and business processes
  • Develop Moderately complex systems specifications, process flow and conversion strategies
  • Create moderately complex technical and functional user documentation with supervision
  • Contributes to the development of new tools, standard processes and moderate solutions to meet core product needs.  Follow established business processes, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of intermediate and complex solutions.
  • Maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers, as necessary.
  • Develop "trusted advisor" relationship with senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.
  • Identify and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.
  • Perform moderately complex analysis on existing systems; identifying options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.
  • Work between remote development teams, internal IT and business to ensure requirements are being met.
  • Maintain automated test scripts.  All other duties as assigned
  
Skills Required:  
  • Must have software development experience
  • Needs to understand full SDLC process
  • Experience in JIRA is a must, confluence experience would be a plus
  • Experience in SharePoint
  • Will be responsible for writing requirements
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Must have experience working in healthcare
  • Working closely development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders
  • Proficient maintenance of automated test scripts  Intermediate understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools and languages
  • Experience using a recognized development methodology e.g.,
Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN
  • Competent proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Intermediate facilitation skills, with experience of facilitating workshops
  • Developing advanced knowledge and experience with UML modeling language
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization  Effective process documentation skills
  • Developing advanced IT research, software analysis and design skills  Understands the role of BA in the full software development lifecycle and is beginning to guide less senior team members through it.
  • Confident in gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications on moderate or large projects.
  • Moderate experience of working in an agile environment and proficient use of recognized development methodology e.g., Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN.
  
Education & Work Experience: 
  • 4+ years of experience
  • BS/ BA degree relevant discipline Required
  • ISEB qualified Business Analyst or equivalent desired
