Senior Technical Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst - $50 - $70hr / Remote

THE POSITION:
ICS is working with a client who utilizes technology to support companies within surety, commercial, and personal lines insurance business. They are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, with experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry, to join their fast-growing team! The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and superb communication skills; as well as thrive in a smaller, quickly changing work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with IT teams and leadership to analyze, strategize, develop, and drive best practices for application documentation, functional specification documentation, etc.
• Act as a subject matter expert and openly communicate recommendations of processes, tools, and methodologies to leadership within the company
• Create and maintain requirements templates and other templates or tools associated with the requirements process. Design and execute test cases, and assist customer with the same.
• Stay on top of trends in the industry for capturing and maintaining requirements, and recommend improvements to the company's process
• Responsible for requirements documents, test cases and documentation, and demos and prototypes if necessary for each project.
• Create descriptions of out of scope requirements in support of add-on sales or change control.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst; preferably in an IT consulting organization.
• 2+ recent years of technical experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry
• Demonstrable experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills required.
• Demonstrated experience of having a strong presence with customers.
• Strong time management and personal organization skills to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
