We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Sales Engineer. (Contract-to-Hire)
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive new business acquisition by identifying key opportunities within aviation clients across the Americas, leading strategic prospecting, and executing tailored sales strategies to address industry challenges.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients through strategic account planning, fostering trust, and ensuring continued value delivery through client's digital’s solutions.
- Sales Process & Internal Collaboration: Lead a structured sales process, working closely with pre-sales teams, product specialists, and executive leadership to develop and present compelling proposals. Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide ongoing insights into market trends and competitor positioning.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in enterprise software sales, with a track record of successfully selling to C-level executives and navigating complex organizations. Must be adept at solution selling, value-based selling, and consultative sales approaches.
- Strong background in aviation, travel, or hospitality sectors, with an ability to understand industry-specific pain points and identify strategic opportunities for business expansion within client accounts and the broader market.
- Excellent communication, sales presentation, and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate clear ROI, conduct effective discovery conversations, and lead strategic prospecting efforts that align with customer challenges.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Previous hands-on Software Sales Experience (in: Aviation, Hospitality, Travel industries)

Location: Remote (Must be located within commutable distance to Chicago), Travel required
Client Industry: Technology (Aviation sector)
Compensation: $80-95 / hour
