Title: Senior Quality Systems Application Analyst (Veeva/QMS)

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Quality Systems Application Analyst (Veeva/QMS). This professional is responsible for the administration, optimization, integration, and support of enterprise Quality Management and Laboratory Systems. This role serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into scalable, compliant, and efficient system solutions. The ideal candidate will lead application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and support activities while ensuring system reliability, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and a positive end-user experience across a complex SaaS-based enterprise environment.
This individual will provide technical leadership for quality systems initiatives, partner closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the organization's quality technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Quality Systems Administration & Support
- Administer, maintain, support, and enhance enterprise Quality and Laboratory Systems applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application reliability and availability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve technical and functional issues.
- Support end users through issue resolution, training, and system adoption activities.
- Application Delivery & Technical Leadership
- Lead the planning, design, testing, implementation, and deployment of software enhancements and new application functionality.
- Manage software upgrades, patches, releases, and validation activities.
- Evaluate and implement system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Provide technical leadership across application initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert for Quality Systems technology.
- Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and recommend technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
- Analyze application functionality and recommend improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
- Support project scoping, effort estimation, planning, and execution activities.
- Integration & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
- Support enterprise application architecture initiatives within a cloud-based SaaS environment.
- Coordinate vendor activities related to upgrades, support, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
- Governance & Documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, configuration records, and architecture diagrams.
- Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures related to Quality Systems applications.
- Ensure system configurations and processes align with compliance, validation, and audit requirements.
- Strategic Initiatives
- Contribute to IT roadmap planning and technology strategy discussions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support long-term business objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving enterprise quality and laboratory technology platforms.

Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise Quality Systems applications in an analyst, systems administrator, or related IT role.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise software platforms in complex environments.
- Experience providing user support, training, application administration, and system maintenance.
- Experience conducting software testing, upgrades, implementations, and release management activities.
- Strong experience analyzing technical issues and driving solutions to resolution.
Preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
- Experience supporting Veeva Quality applications.
- Experience within regulated industries such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or manufacturing.
- Experience working within integrated cloud-based enterprise technology ecosystems.
