What You Will Do
We are looking for a Sr. Agile Specialist to join Disney's Enterprise Technology Identity and Access
Management (IAM) group. This group's core mission is providing a Core IAM ecosystem of security services,
platforms, and solutions in use across the company by cast members, employees, and partners within Disney's
business segments (DEE&T, DX, Studios) and corporate functions. Our vision is to provide advanced Identity and
Access Management capabilities and services that are simple, seamless, and secure to protect our workforce,
our data, and our brands.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint
reviews
* Ensure consistency and effectiveness of Scrum practices across IAM delivery teams
* Support teams in defining sprint goals and maintaining alignment to IAM priorities
* Reinforce Agile ways of working, ensuring adherence to agreed team cadence and processes
* Track team capacity, velocity, and sprint progress to ensure predictable delivery outcomes
* Coordinate with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to balance BAU, project work, and
unplanned demand
* Ensure backlog readiness by partnering with Product Owners and supporting backlog refinement activities
* Maintain visibility into delivery commitments, timelines, and dependencies
* Identify, track, and proactively resolve blockers impacting team performance
* Manage dependencies across IAM domains (e.g., IGA, PAM, Authentication, Directory Services)
* Escalate risks, issues, and delivery constraints to appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
* Support governance of risks and issues to maintain delivery continuity
* Act as a central coordination point across engineering, product, security, and operations teams
* Provide transparent delivery reporting, including sprint progress, risks, and outcomes
* Participate in leadership updates, delivery reviews, and cross-team planning activities
* Ensure alignment between delivery execution and IAM strategic priorities
* Drive actionable retrospective outcomes focused on improving team performance
* Coach team members on Agile principles, fostering accountability and continuous learning
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimize delivery efficiency and quality
* Promote consistent Agile maturity across IAM teams, especially in environments with mixed or evolving
practices
Must Have
* 3-5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, or Agile Specialist roles
* Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint execution
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment
Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
Nice To Have
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent
* Experience working in cybersecurity or Identity & Access Management environments
* Familiarity with IAM domains (Authentication, Authorization, PAM, IGA, Directory Services)
* Experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery or transformation initiatives
* CISSP/Security Certifications
