Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Delivery Manager (Co-Program Director) to serve as a strategic partner to the Program Director in leading a high-profile Strategic Supplier Program. As program complexity and executive stakeholder engagement continue to expand, this role will provide executive-level leadership, delivery oversight, and organizational alignment across multiple workstreams.
The successful candidate will function as a co-leader of the program, helping drive strategic execution, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage enterprise risks, and ensure alignment among internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This is a high-impact contract opportunity designed to accelerate program outcomes while providing senior leadership bandwidth to support ongoing transformation efforts.
Role Purpose
This role exists to address program delivery fragmentation and executive misalignment across a complex enterprise initiative. By providing strategic oversight, governance leadership, and senior stakeholder management, the Senior Program Delivery Manager enables the Program Director to focus on broader transformation objectives while ensuring all workstreams remain coordinated, aligned, and positioned for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Program Director and PMO to develop, maintain, and execute the overall program delivery strategy and roadmap.
- Serve as a co-leader for the Strategic Supplier Program, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams and strategic initiatives.
- Drive collaboration among internal teams, executive stakeholders, and external suppliers to maintain transparency and program momentum.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage enterprise-level risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks that support accountability, compliance, and agile delivery practices.
- Monitor program health, delivery performance, milestones, and key metrics, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.
- Facilitate executive-level communications, status reporting, and strategic discussions.
- Influence and build consensus across complex organizational environments with competing priorities and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to program teams while promoting delivery excellence and best practices.
- Develop strategic recommendations that optimize program outcomes and maximize enterprise value realization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in program management, delivery leadership, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide programs with multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and dependencies.
- Strong executive presence with experience managing senior leadership stakeholders and external strategic partners.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment in highly matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional risk management, governance, and program planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts across business and technology organizations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a large, global, highly distributed enterprise environment.
- Background in strategic supplier management, vendor governance, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Agile delivery methodology experience.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, process automation, or AI-supported program delivery practices.
- Advanced program governance and organizational change management experience.
